Holiday Schedule
Active Learning Academy follows most of the Bend/Lapine School District holidays. We value our time with our preschoolers but also want to provide ample time for our staff to be with their families to rest and recoup in order to be the best teachers they can be.

inclement weather
We follow the Bend La Pine School District’s recommendation for delayed opening and school closures. We will post on Brightwheel by 6am if a delay or closure is forecasted. On occasion, school will close early at 4pm if there appears to be an expected major storm coming in or if the roads are expected to be dangerous for travel. We are cautious with our traveling teachers as well as our students and families safety and want to allow everyone to get home safely. While this can be inconvenient, it rarely occurs during the season. We appreciate the support in prioritizing the safety of our teachers and families. If school closes due to snow there are no “make up” days as our program goes year round.
